This quick protein brownie recipe is something that you can whip together in no time for a change of pace snack or just for for sinful enjoyment without any sin. You can use any chocolate protein powder. I pretty much stick with Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard, but I have tried this with other brands as well. You can actually use other varieties of protein except for casein as it will need much more water and the consistency never seems to be right. I want to work out a recipe using casein powder soon though, so stay tuned for that.
1 1/2 Scoops Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
1 Tablespoon Chunky Natural Peanut Butter
Dash Baking Powder
Water for consistency
Combine all ingredients in a microwave safe bowl.
Stir in small amounts of water until you reach a brownie-batter consistency.
Microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute, check and stir, then microwave as needed. Microwaves vary, so be careful not to overcook. You want a brownie texture. Overcooking will ruin your brownies.
